Short-term Goals
      From June ’08 until February ’09, we will
be taking care of the ministry of missionaries
Lionel and Carol Martin. There, at the Igreja
Baptista de Queijas, we will have abundant
ministry opportunities and will be able to
prepare for our own future ministry in Portugal.

  • David will be able to preach 2-3 times
    each week.
  • We will be able to disciple and
    encourage the believers in the church.
  • We will be able to share the gospel with
    the lost and work to build relationships.
  • We will both be able to take Portuguese
    language courses.
  • We will survey the Portuguese deaf
    community and plan for ways to reach
    them when we return.

Long-term Goals
       After returning from our seven month trip,
we will continue our deputation so that we
can return as full-time missionaries. We
believe God has led us to spend our lives as
missionaries to Portugal.     

       Our desire is to glorify God by
evangelizing the lost; establishing healthy
churches; and discipling believers.
